During this creative experience, each participant will paint and personalize a head planter, select a live plant, and plant it as a symbolic representation of who they are becoming. Through guided reflection and journaling prompts, we’ll explore themes of identity, healing, intention-setting, and personal evolution.
This is a welcoming, judgment-free space rooted in creativity and self-discovery. No artistic experience is necessary and all materials are provided, and guidance will be offered throughout the session.
What to expect:
-
A calming, supportive environment
-
Step-by-step planter decorating
-
Guided journaling and reflection prompts
-
Meaningful conversation and connection
-
A completed head planter to take home as a living reminder of your growth
Come ready to create, reflect, and plant something meaningful — both in soil and within yourself.
EMOTIONS IN MOTION:
Gracie Corner Theme Yoga Experience

Quiet Thoughts Matter presents Emotions in Motion: a Gracie’s Corner–themed yoga experience for children ages 3–7. Led by Certified Yoga Instructor Tyra, this joyful, music-filled class introduces young children to movement, breathing, and beginner yoga in a playful, sensory-friendly environment that builds confidence, focus, and body awareness. Following the movement session, parents and caregivers will participate in a brief parenting lesson led by Minority Behavioral Health Group, offering practical tools to support children’s emotional regulation at home. This free community event promotes emotional wellness through movement, education, and connection. Yoga mats are encouraged if available, space is limited, and registration is required. Donations are appreciated.
